Second hand edition of the popular Harland & Wolff Designs from the Shipbuilding Empire by Tom McCluskie. Printed in 1998, with history of the Port and numerous coloured plates of the many vessel built in Belfast from 1860 Ship number 5, the 'Jane Porter' to the Lord Downshire' Ship Number 148, launched in 1882.

Tom McCluskie, born in Belfast in 1950 is the son of a fifth generation shipyard worker, worked in the yard and was Harland & Wolff's Technical Liaison to 20th Century Fox in the production of the James Cameron film TITANIC.
