Terms and Condtions for Parties and Private Hire
2012 Private Hire Terms:
For both Private Party Hire & Guided Tours:
1. A deposit of £100 is required to confirm all bookings along with the name, address, mobile telephone number and email address of the person booking the boat.
2. The deposit must be be paid by cash or debit/credit card to Lagan Boat Company (N.I.) Ltd within 7 days of making the booking otherwise Lagan Boat Company reserve the right to re-allocate that time slot.
3.The final balance (minus deposit paid) will be payable 10 days prior to the day/night of sailing.
Private Guided Tour Cost
£200 for up to 35 passengers (JOYCE TOO)
£300 for up to 70 passengers (MONA)
(No food or alcoholic beverages permitted on private guided tours; tea/coffee is permitted)
Private guided tours can only be conducted during daylight hours.
Additional Terms for Private Party Hire only:
4. The person hiring the boat must be 23 or over.
5. Alcohol may only be consumed by persons aged 18 or over (I.D. may be requested by the Captain)
6. Underage or inebriated passengers may be refused permission to board.
7. Alcopops are NOT permitted onboard; only beer, wine and spirits allowed.
8. The hirer is responsible for the behaviour and bona fides of those passengers who make up the party.
9. The Captain's decision on all matters is final and binding.
(Recommended maximum: 30 passengers ‘Joyce Too' or 50 Passengers on ‘Mona' for your comfort and ease of movement)
Private Party Cost
1 hour party = £10 per person for parties of 20 people or more or a minimum charge £200 for parties of 19 or less
1.5 hour party = £15 per person for parties of 20 people or more or a minimum charge £300 for parties of 19 or less
2 hour party = £20 per person for parties of 20 people or more or a minimum charge £400 for parties of 19 or less
Cancellation Policy for all Private Hire
21 days + cancellation notice given - Deposit refunded.
11 to 20 days cancellation notice given - Deposit not refundable (but an alternative date can be agreed at the discretion of management)
9 days or less notice given - you will be charged 100% of hire cost.
The boats may be hired between the hours of 9:30am and 11pm, 7 days a week, subject to availability.
